Response to The Economist on Presidential Pardons

Read the Lorance Team's rebuttal to The Economist's opinion piece regarding presidential pardons of those convicted of war crimes, in which the author argues that presidential pardons un such cases would undermine the nation's reputation as one that adheres to the rule of law. Nothing can be further from the truth. Executive clemency is an inherent part of our nation. And Clint Lorance is the perfect example of how important the pardon power is.
